We believe that we can grow great fruit by looking after the environment and community around us. The growers of Mt Erin have over generations, shared the same values of looking after the soil, the health of our trees, the water resources and the wider environment.
All Mt Erin growers use the world-renowned New Zealand Apples and Pears, Integrated Fruit Production system, and the Apple Futures system. Several of our growers were among the first to use this system in the 1980's.
We work with globally recognised scientists in our region to find the best ways to produce fruit in our growing environment. We work hard to look after our biological control agents and only react to pest and disease triggers after careful monitoring. Our growers take pride in their pest and disease management systems, working with the environment for the best outcome.
At Mt Erin, we're always looking for ways to improve production while adhering to our world-renown sustainability practices and production systems. Our orchards are constantly evolving using innovation suited to our philosophy and our environment.
